As a 7.5T Home Delivery Driver, you’ll be the friendly face our customers look forward to seeing — making sure every delivery arrives safely, on time and with a smile.
You’ll play a key role in our two‑person Home Delivery Network, providing a “Room of Choice” delivery service and removing packaging where requested to help make the customer experience as effortless as possible.

You’ll work closely with teams across our depots, Dunelm Distribution Centres, suppliers and logistics partners to ensure every customer receives the great service they expect from us.
What you'll be doing
Responsible for delivering our high-quality products, with productive service to our customers, who are at the heart of our business. So, ensuring they are one hundred percent happy is pivotal to the role. Shifts are based on a two weekly rotating pattern, Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday with hours starting between 6am – 8am. All routes are planned day routes within a designated delivery area with no overnights. Hopping into one of our 7.5T vehicles and heading out on your delivery route Working with a delivery partner to safely handle and install larger items. Chatting with customers and making sure they’re happy with their delivery. Keeping things running smoothly, safely, and with a smile.
What we'll look for in you
Have effective communication skills so you can not only share information with colleagues around you but also maintain safety in the warehouse. Be organised and work at a consistent pace with accuracy when completing tasks within the warehouse, taking timely action to raise, and overcome issues. Working independently as required and be resourceful when working understanding who and what you need to get things done. Be self-motivated whilst holding yourself accountable to targets understanding ‘your purpose’ in creating the customer experience. You should be able to work as part of a team, helping your colleagues and building trust with them. Also take opportunities to offer support and help colleagues when necessary. There are various parts of the warehouse to learn, and it can be a fast-paced environment so, a willingness to learn is a skill that can help a lot when starting and throughout your time with Dunelm. Priorities can change quickly in a warehouse environment, the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes to work as a team is helpful. Cultural awareness and sensitivity as will be working with a diverse team of colleagues. You should be able to understand one another’s differences. Having good problem-solving skills is a good asset to have when issues crop up. Be able to work at pace and under pressure. Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment.
