Academic Support Administrator

Part time: Term Time Hours: 09:00am-14:30pm Monday to Friday, however the hours can be flexible across the week Salary: Based on 1FTE £31K pro rata for this part time, term time role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academic Support Administrator to support and enhance the academic life of Benenden School, one of the country’s leading independent schools.

This role will provide essential administrative support to enable the smooth running of the Academic Support Department at Benenden, and the post holder will work closely with the SENCo/Head of Academic Support.

It is essential that candidates have a high level of IT competency, including the ability to work confidently with Excel; excellent communications, organisational and administrative skills. Whilst experience of working in a school is desirable, it is not essential.

About Benenden School:

Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 180 of those in the Sixth Form. Benenden is at the forefront of girls’ education in the UK, with recent innovations including the Benenden Diploma, a bespoke curriculum for our youngest two year groups, and the Professional Skills Programme.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are free for staff to use, when available.
