Role Overview Our client is a leading licensed supplier of socks, nightwear, and underwear to major UK supermarkets and high-street retailers. They're seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth across their retail portfolio, which includes UK supermarkets and high-street retailers.

Based in Leicester - ideally 4 days a week in their office Salary: up to 40K based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  1. Account Management & Relationship Building Manage day-to-day relationships with key wholesale clients (retailers, distributors, e-commerce partners) Act as the main point of contact for all account-related matters Conduct regular meetings (in-person/virtual) to review performance and opportunities Build long-term partnerships to secure repeat business
  2. Sales & Revenue Growth Meet or exceed seasonal and annual sales targets Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts Pitch new licensed collections and product ranges Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms
  3. Product & Range Planning Work closely with design and buying teams to align ranges with customer needs Present seasonal collections and secure orders Use sales data and trends to inform product development
  4. Licensing & Brand Compliance Ensure all products meet licensor guidelines and approval processes Liaise with licensors and internal licensing teams when required Maintain brand integrity across all accounts
  5. Order & Production Coordination Oversee order placement, tracking, and fulfilment Coordinate with production, logistics, and merchandising teams Manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery
  6. Market & Trend Analysis Monitor competitor activity and retail trends Provide insights on consumer demand and licensing opportunities Feed back market intelligence to internal teams Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role within apparel, hosiery, or underwear. Strong track record of working with major UK supermarkets and high-street retailers.
