Role Description VACANCY Accounts Assistant (Payables) An exciting opportunity has recently become available for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. Key tasks for the role include: · Processing invoices, ensuring they are posted in a timely and accurate manner. · Dealing with invoice anomalies and supplier queries ensuring payment terms and supply of goods are not compromised. · Liaising with suppliers regarding payment. · Assisting Internal and External Auditors. · Provide cover for Accounts Receivable to include raising customer invoices. · Associated administration tasks.
The ideal candidate: · We are looking for someone with a high standard of numerical accuracy and attention to detail, who has the ability to work to tight deadlines. · Someone with great communication skills. · A highly organised individual. · Be someone who is able to follow instruction but can also be forward thinking and innovative with good problem-solving skills. · Ideally have some similar experience but this is not essential if you are able to relate to other points mentioned above.
Particulars:
- Core hours are Monday to Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm).
- Flexible working.
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
