Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant | £30,000 - £40,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based- Bradford Are you an experienced practice accountant looking for a role where you'll be valued, supported, and genuinely enjoy coming into work? If you're someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, supporting junior staff, and being part of a down-to-earth, friendly team, this could be a great fit. We're partnering with a growing independent accountancy practice based in Bradford that has recently gone through an exciting period of change, including new leadership and a move to modern offices. They're now looking to bring in an Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant to support the team, take ownership of client work, and help develop junior staff. The Role You'll manage your own portfolio while playing a key role in supporting both clients and the wider team. Client Management: Managing a portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors Year-End Accounts: Preparing accounts for limited companies Tax Work: Personal tax returns (directors) and corporation tax returns Bookkeeping: Supporting clients with day-to-day finance Training & Mentorship: Supporting and developing junior staff Client Interaction: Building strong, long-term relationships This is a hands-on, client-facing role with real variety and responsibility. What We're Looking For Practice background with around 5 years' experience AAT qualified (or QBE considered) Confident preparing year-end accounts and tax returns Comfortable managing clients and setting expectations Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach Experience with Xero, Sage, or similar software (Dext beneficial) CIS experience advantageous but not essential Why Join?
