Start Date: September 2026 We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to assume the role of acting head of girls’ sport from September or October 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. The post is ideally offered on a full time basis, although applications from candidates interested in working part time may also be considered.

Sport plays an integral part in life at King’s and we are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to lead our girls’ sports programme and to maximise girls’ engagement in pursuit of a healthy and active lifestyle. The successful post-holder will oversee the co-ordination and running of girls’ sport, with particular responsibility for netball. Sixth form girls enjoy a wide range of sports, and the head of girls’ sport works closely with the relevant heads of sport to ensure appropriate provision.

The successful candidate will also work across the boys’ programme in both the junior and senior schools. As such, the role will involve significant before and after school commitments and attendance at Saturday fixtures.
