Adoption & Kinship Support Coordinator | 10261 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £26,824 to £28,142 per annum | Grade E | County Hall / Hybrid
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Adoption and Kinship Support Coordinator to join our Adoption and Kinship Support Team at County Hall.
You will be part of a large, multi-disciplinary team committed to improving outcomes for adopted and kinship children and their families.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, experience in administrative work, and confidence working in a busy environment where tasks can vary from day to day.
This role requires you to attend County Hall at least two days per week, making it well-suited to someone seeking a hybrid working arrangement.
About The Role
As an Adoption and Kinship Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the service. Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the processing and coordination of contact arrangements between birth families and adopters. Providing high‑quality administrative support to the Adoption and Kinship Support Team. Taking minutes for a panel of senior managers.
Additional Responsibilities
Working across the Contact Service and the wider Post Adoption and Kinship Support Services to support with a range of administrative tasks. Assisting with the administration of funding processes for the Adoption and Kinship Support Fund. Helping to coordinate and promote training and workshops, including venue bookings and financial administration. Supporting the practical aspects of creating Life Story Books across the Adoption Service.
