AI INNOVATOR London · Full-time · In-office Reporting to: Social Impact Manager

Somewhere in the UK right now, there’s a brilliant founder talking themselves out of an idea because they don’t have access to the right network, capital or resources. You’ll be helping us change that. We are building a new UK-registered charity on a mission to back the high-potential founders that the system overlooks. We aspire to help 10,000 founders from lower socioeconomic backgrounds in the next five years and believe AI is the most powerful tool we have to deliver this meaningful impact at scale. This role sits at the heart of the infrastructure that enables our philanthropic work. You won't be maintaining legacy systems, you will be building them from scratch.

MISSION

Over the next 12 months you will design, build and operate the AI infrastructure that helps to power the charity and programme of support delivered to our founders.

Your mission is to ensure the team can focus on the essential human stakeholder relationships while the systems ease the heavy lifting. Freeing up attention for the human touchpoints that matter most - the mentorship, community events and the moments of belief with founders. This means going from zero to a functioning, AI-enabled charitable programme in under four months, with our pilot programme launching early July 2026. You will be our technical hire, working closely with the Social Impact Manager and external ethical advisors to ensure our AI systems are secure, unbiased and built on the principle that technology should inform human judgement, never replace it. This is an opportunity to set a new standard for how the charitable sector uses AI in service of the people who need it most.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & WHY IT MATTERS

Here are just a handful of the AI tools and workflows you will be expected to build. Founder & Donor Screening: Application screening to ensure founders get access to our support based on their potential, not their past. In addition to high-value matching of founders to the right donors / mentors based on background, industry, goals and working style. AI-Powered Programme Delivery: Designing and deploying a personalised, always-on support layer that means no founder ever waits days for guidance on a critical decision. This includes conversational AI tooling, knowledge base architecture and escalation logic that knows when a human needs to step in. Working with expert contributors to produce AI-generated learning content, including AI-enhanced video so the quality of a founder's education doesn't depend on their geography, financial position or connections. Building the in-house platform where founders access training, complete assessments for review and submit progress updates. Content Generation & Social Media Management: Designing AI workflows that help us capture and share the raw, authentic journey of our founders, ensuring their voices are heard at scale without compromising their message Community Management: Building the connective tissue of the community so every founder and donor feels known; routing the right resources, conversations and connections to the right person at exactly the right moment. This includes peer-to-peer introductions, feedback collection, newsletter distribution, alumni engagement and event coordination. Impact Measurement & Data Systems: Data infrastructure to track founder outcomes over time and feed charity commission, stakeholder and annual reports. Real-time dashboards to give us visibility on the programme’s impact outcomes and areas where we can continuously improve the support offered to founders. Internal Operations Automation: Automating the core workflows that slow the team down - communications, scheduling, reporting and CRM. Handing over all systems so the team can operate and scale them independently.

COMPETENCIES

Must-haves You have built AI products end-to-end that real users depend on. Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines and agent orchestration. You can design and own data infrastructure, schemas, pipelines, analytics, from day one. You think about accessibility and inclusive UX as a default, not an afterthought. Nice-to-haves Experience building in small, resource-constrained teams. Familiarity with UK GDPR and data governance in sensitive contexts. An interest in entrepreneurship and social mobility.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

90%+ founder completion rate and 9+ NPS scores that rival the best accelerators in the world and reflect a genuinely transformational experience. 20% above average business survival rates at 12 / 24 months that prove the quality of our screening, training and community components. Repeat donor engagement built on real evidence, with data systems that show exactly how founders’ stories are evolving over time into successful, sustainable businesses. Timely annual reporting to the charity commission and key stakeholders, with well documented, scalable AI systems that can support 10x volume.

YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF

You want your technical work to do something that matters. You're energised by ambiguity and don't need a detailed spec to get started. You think in systems and outcomes, not features and tickets. You're comfortable being the only technical person in the room. You believe AI is an ultra-powerful force that can be used for good - and you want to prove it.
