AI-Native Software Engineer Glasgow (Hybrid) Up to £85,000 + Benefits

We’re looking for an experienced AI-Native Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building modern software products at speed using AI-first development practices.

This role is ideal for a senior or lead-level engineer who combines strong full-stack Microsoft development experience with a genuine passion for AI-assisted engineering. You’ll be someone who has already embraced tools like Claude Code and AI agents within your workflow, and understands how to move rapidly from concept through to production without sacrificing engineering quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

Designing and delivering modern full-stack applications using Microsoft technologies and ReactJS Leveraging AI tooling and autonomous agents to accelerate software delivery Building production-ready systems from early-stage concepts and prototypes Collaborating with product and engineering teams to shape technical direction Driving engineering best practices across architecture, delivery, automation and AI utilisation Exploring and implementing emerging AI-native development approaches across the SDLC

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in full-stack Microsoft development environments Commercial experience with technologies such as: .NET / C# Azure ReactJS APIs and modern cloud architectures Experience using tools such as Claude Code, AI coding assistants, or deployed engineering agents in a real development environment Engineers who actively use AI to improve delivery pace, productivity and software quality Strong understanding of taking products from initial concept through to production deployment Senior-level engineering capability with the confidence to influence technical decisions Experience working in agile, product-led engineering environments

Nice to Have

Experience deploying or orchestrating AI agents/workflows Exposure to LLM integrations or AI product development DevOps / CI/CD experience within Azure environments Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical delivery
