If you're passionate about AI, machine learning, and turning research into impactful solutions, this is the opportunity for you!
What You'll Do Architect and Maintain Knowledge Graphs (KG): Leverage ontologies and graph databases to build and optimize KG systems. Design RAG and GraphRAG Pipelines: Enhance reasoning capabilities for structured, contextual, and dynamic data. Optimize Systems: Evaluate and fine-tune KG, RAG, and GraphRAG systems for accuracy, latency, and memory efficiency. Deploy LLMs: Fine-tune and deploy advanced LLMs for on-device applications. Build Data Pipelines: Develop robust data generation and collection pipelines for model training and system construction. Contribute to Code Libraries: Add new features and improve existing capabilities in our code libraries. Evaluate Performance: Conduct rigorous experimentation and statistical analysis to assess algorithm and system performance. Lead Prototypes: Develop software prototypes and experimental systems with a focus on high code quality and maintainability. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to integrate research into Samsung products and services.
Who You Are Education: Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or recently completed). Master's graduates with relevant experience are also considered. Publication in top-tier conferences/journals (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, ACL, IEEE TPAMI, IEEE TNNLS, IJCV, JMLR). Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Knowledge Graphs (RDF, SPARQL, Neo4j). Hands-on experience with RAG/GraphRAG frameworks (LangChain, LLamaIndex, Vector Databases). Expertise in fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deploying LLMs (HuggingFace, vLLMs). Expert proficiency in Python and PyTorch. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases with optimization skills for high-volume data. Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Java/Kotlin. Experience with deep learning model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation). Experience deploying AI models on-device (mobile, embedded, edge accelerators).
Why Join Us? Impactful Work: Your contributions will directly influence the future of Samsung's AI-driven products and services. Cutting-Edge Projects: Work on innovative technologies that are shaping the future of mobile and server platforms. Collaborative Environment: Join a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers who are passionate about AI. Hybrid Work Policy: Enjoy flexibility with up to 2 days a week working from home.
