Apprentice Cardiac Physiologist

This is an apprenticeship over 3 years to support an individual to develop the skills and gain the relevant qualification to become a qualified Healthcare Scientist / Cardiac Physiologist.

The individual will be supported to attend Manchester Metropolitan University and day release to complete a BSc in Healthcare Science which will be fully funded.

This is initially a fixed term contract for the duration of the Apprenticeship programme. On successful completion of the apprenticeship qualification, the role will become permanent.

To apply for this Apprenticeship role, you must meet the following apprenticeship eligibilitycriteria:

Have lived in the UK or the EEA for the last three years continuously If working on a Visa, the remaining duration must cover the duration of the Apprenticeship.

To develop the skills to allow independent practice, analyse, interpret & report a wide range of specialist tertiary cardiac procedures

To develop the skills to support advanced specialist procedures as 2nd operator under the supervision of a Specialist, Advanced or Expert practitioner

Actively participates in practical & theoretical training & development within the field of Cardiac Physiology

Complete BSc in Healthcare Cardiac Science and become an independent practioner
