What You Can Expect

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople carrying out refurbishment work in customers’ homes and communal living complexes. The focus of the role is on internal and external refurbishment to a decent homes standard, including installing and maintaining kitchens and bathrooms, windows, doors etc

During Your Apprenticeship, You Will

Achieve a Level 2 Carpentry/Joinery qualification Develop into a qualified carpenter specialising on decent homes standards

What You’ll Learn

Work Methods: Safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment Products & Installation: Fitting fire doors, fire stopping, and protective systems Preparation: Removing and preparing areas before installation Technology: Learning how to use our Oneserve software to record and track completed works Health & Safety: Understanding workplace safety standards Teamwork: Collaborating effectively in small teams Communication: Building strong relationships with colleagues and customers

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop in a hands-on role.

Ideally, you will have: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4–9 / A*–C), although this is not essential

Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Be willing to learn and take on new challenges Enjoy practical, physical work Be a reliable team player

Please note: This apprenticeship is not suitable for candidates who already hold (or are studying towards) a Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or Joinery.

A DBS check will also be required to be taken.
