This position helps early career architecture assistants and graduates to become independent, innovative thinkers with excellent communication and leadership skills and is part time role that makes job seekers attractive to employers.
Role Description This is a voluntary role for an Architecture Workshop Assistant with Young People. The role involves assisting with architectural design drawing, model making, architecture projects, presentations, and communication tasks. We are recruiting for locally situated applicants for positions as follows; London-based applicants for an on-site role located in London (Saturdays)
Qualifications Essential; BArch Degree in Architecture, Design, or related field Drawing and Architecture skills Excellent Communication skills Ability to create engaging presentations Passion for working with young people and fostering creativity Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience in educational settings is a plus
Desirable; March or PGDip Arch RIBA Part II
Applicants should be based no more than 40min travel distance from the venue (door to door). During interview for sustainability purposes we will ask for your travel plan. Successful applicants will need to provide ID & proof of address for DBS application.
