Role Overview The Artist Accreditation Manager will oversee all artist ticketing requirements, working closely with the Music Office to ensure seamless delivery. You will be responsible for managing artist ticketing through our primary system, Festival Pro, alongside some tickets processed via OurCrew.
On-site, you will lead the accreditation operation, working closely with the Artist Gate Manager supervising all aspects of office management, and overseeing the issuing of accreditation and vehicle passes. This includes the preparation of artist packs and dedicated support for headline acts. You will ensure the operation runs efficiently, maintaining clear communication with gate teams, the wider Accreditation operation, Gates Control, and the Music Office.
Key Responsibilities Pre-event Implement a system for accrediting artists and guests. Liaise with the music department with regard to artist ticket allocations, then put all the tickets onto the system. Set up paid guest ticket types and ensure that the distribution of these tickets fall in line with agreed allocations in conjunction with the Head of Access and Offsite and Ticketing Manager.
Ensure Festival Pro forms are working correctly throughout the accreditation process.
Work alongside Festival Pro to troubleshoot and fix any issues that might arise.
Monitor the number of tickets and vehicle passes allocated, keeping Music Office and Head of Access and Offsite updated to ensure licensing and internal limits are complied with. Prepare thorough and concise briefings for all staff working in Artist Accreditation in collaboration with the Artist Gate Manager. Send tickets to artists and guests within two weeks of the start of the festival.
On-site and Show Days Brief the Artist Accreditation team on ticketing and Festival Pro and work with the Artist Gate Manager to train staff on systems and procedures. Work alongside the Artist Gate Manager to manage the Artist Accreditation team, ensuring staff welfare is considered. Liaise with the wider Music Office team on shared staffing resources. Implement the audit system, working closely with Music Office and Artist Gate Manager. Work with the Artist Gate Manager to ensure all personal and vehicle accreditation issued is allocated correctly on the system and logged on tracking documents. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of artist packs, liaising with the Music Office, Artist Gate Manager, Guestlist Manager, and Accreditation Operations. Along with the Music Office, Ticketing Manager, Guestlist Manager, Artist Gate Manager and Meet and Greet Runner, oversee special care for Headline Artists and VIP Guests. They need extra care and may not follow the normal accreditation procedure. Liaise with internal and external artist transport teams as required. Liaise with Artist Campsite Manager as required. Liaise with Festival Pro, OurCrew, and Weez where necessary. Support the Artist Gate Manager to troubleshoot on the Artist Gate, referring any issues to Gates Control, Production Accreditation, Music Office and Event Control as appropriate. Responding to queries and anomalies onsite. Liaise with other gates and accreditation teams regarding anomalies arriving at different gates/times.. Keep up to date with onsite information and share with Artist Accreditation staff where relevant.
Post event Ensure that the ticketing system and any supporting documents are completed, and copies are sent to the Music Office and Ops teams. Create feedback for the Music Office and Ops teams. Full debriefs will need to be conducted with all areas: music office, ops, and production.
Skills & Experience Essential: Proven experience in Accreditation, particularly with artists, or VIP services within festivals, venues, events, or hospitality Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple lists and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure Close attention to detail and data accuracy Experience working with accreditation systems or databases Flexibility within daily hours, working alongside Artist Accreditation staff to work out when your time is best spent within the Artist Accreditation office Desirable: Experience working at large-scale festivals or live events Previous team leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of Boomtown Festival operations or similar immersive events

Working Conditions This role requires working on-site during the festival, including long hours Pre-show work can be within our Boomtown HQ (preferred), with some remote work conducted if needed

Meals Onsite - 3 meals per day will be provided. This will be in crew catering. All dietary requirements catered for.

Physical Description of Work - this role is an onsite role at our festival, with some physically active work such as bending, lifting, moving around other areas of site. The festival takes place on a large, greenfield site so the role requires the ability to move around independently and extensively.
