We're now looking for an Assistant Designer to work alongside the menswear team (focussing on multi-products) in our Manchester HQ.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Supporting the menswear designers and senior designers to create and develop original design ideas, concepts, embroideries, fabrications and seasonal themes Sourcing of relevant fabrics to meet the design requirements Creating specs/tech packs for factories Ensuring critical path is adhered to, and keep on top of all key dates Liaising with factories and overseas offices Creating relationships with buyers Participating in inspiration and sourcing trips Trend packs /colour inspiration Supporting with team approvals and administration

About You:

Graduate, educated to degree level with a minimum 2.1 degree in Fashion or other related subject, or equivalent practical experience 1-2 year experience in menswear multiproduct would be an advantage A good understanding of Illustrator and/or Photoshop is desirable Creative and trend-driven with a good eye for colour and fabric Attentive to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Team player and able to build relationships Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Manage challenges in a calm and positive manner
