We’re looking for the next generation of talented graduates to join our team for an unforgettable 12-week internship. About the role

Our International School Qualifications business supports schools, teachers, learners, and their parents around the world throughout their entire school journey, from 3 to 19. Our vision is to be the partner of choice - helping every learner to achieve their full potential. This role in the International Teaching and Learning Resources Team offers a chance to be part of a fast-growing area of education in a successful and motivated team.

As an Associate - International Curriculum - Intern, your role may involve:

Development of educational content to support teaching and learning for international markets

Editorial tasks, including briefing and managing freelancers, and checking the quality of work

Use of content creation tools to make corrections, changes, and manage any discrepancies as they arise

Ensuring quality is maintained at various steps through content production

General service management responsibilities such as making changes, answering customer queries, gathering feedback, and gathering evidence from our customers

Building marketing knowledge and insights

Author management, commissioning, and feedback

You will develop expertise in supporting the International portfolio and projects, including task tracking, budget management, risk and issue management, resource management, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will gain exposure to working with a wide spectrum of teams and tools to help Pearson deliver products or services that align with our strategic objectives and roadmap.

You will also work with Product Management to support research and development of new projects, and will have ownership of specific research tasks and insights.

Key requirements

Will consider students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, but also happy to consider individuals who have not attended university, who have relevant interests or experience

We are looking for a range of students, including those from non-traditional backgrounds, who have an interest in educational publishing or relevant work experience.

An interest in editorial process and content development

Experience or strong interest in working across print and digital formats

Flexibility and enthusiasm, as you will be joining a cross-functional and fast-moving team

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated abilities as a “habitual learner” and the ability to influence others

Demonstrated ability to function in a team setting, including contributing to a positive team environment

Able to attend the designated Pearson worksite/office (London or Oxford) 2x a week for this particular role, and the ability to work from home for the remaining approx. 60% of the time.
