Automation & AI Enablement Manager

Responsible for leading automation and AI enablement across the enterprise, including mindset and capability development, demand framing, governance readiness, and champion engagement—preparing the business for effective PoV/PoC execution and sustained adoption. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Maintain the standards and governance for automation and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and risk controls. Manage intake and prioritization of automation opportunities, guiding business units through feasibility assessments and business case development. Develop and maintain program roadmaps, aligning automation efforts with strategic business objectives and measurable value. Establish adoption and delivery metrics, track progress against KPIs, and produce dashboards for leadership visibility. Monitor performance and compliance, feeding insights back into the program for continuous improvement. Work with Automation Delivery Leader to coordinate cross-functional teams (business SMEs, developers, architects, and vendor-partners) to ensure timely and quality completion of PoC/PoV activities. Lead change management activities, including communication plans and stakeholder engagement to drive user adoption. Identify success and learning stories enabling outcomes, promoting benefits, and success stories to increase awareness and participation. Identify high-impact automation opportunities using data-driven analysis and ROI modeling. Document lessons learned and refine processes to improve efficiency and scalability of future initiatives. Nature and Scope Consults with senior management on solution development for complex strategic and technical business issues. Independently solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Assignments are large scope, high impact, high cost, and high importance. Establishes operational plans for assigned area. Acts as a strategic advisor and uses expert skills to contribute to the development of strategic company objectives. Receives general administrative and business direction as needed. Typically operates with broad latitude in a complex environment. Guides and mentors staff at all levels, provides advice to senior management on complex and strategic issues, and may lead or manage complex projects with dotted line responsibility. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 8+ years of experience in a related field. Maintains expert knowledge in area of responsibility with a strong understanding in adjacent areas for the development of creative solutions. Preferred Qualifications Enablement - Microsoft Copilot training and change management Intake - evaluating business process, problem, and benefit/opportunity, and coordinating opportunity for intake with Delivery Manager and BEP (VP/Sr. Director) approval and prioritization Value story creation, presenting outcomes to leadership, and gathering value realization details Managing team (future), BSA's Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in leading change management and enablement, preferably in automation, AI, or digital technology transformation programs. Proven track record of working complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business outcomes. Experience with automation and AI technologies (RPA, low/no code solutions, AI platforms). Strong understanding of change management principles, stakeholder engagement strategies, and identifying and measuring success.
