Bulk Gases Logistics Manager

A senior logistics role responsible for overseeing bulk gas transport, fleet performance, compliance and customer delivery across a complex operational environment. Reporting into the Plant & Operations Director, you'll lead planning, drivers and fleet activity while driving safety, efficiency and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: End‑to‑end management of bulk gas logistics and daily delivery planning Lead, coach and manage drivers and logistics planning teams Fleet and route optimisation to improve utilisation and reduce costs Ensure full transport, H&S and regulatory compliance Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections and operating licence requirements Manage import/export activity, customs paperwork and supplier coordination Track KPIs including OTIF, fill rates, costs and asset utilisation Drive continuous improvement across logistics, processes and training Act as a key liaison between operations, sales, maintenance and customers Ideal background: Senior logistics / transport management experience (bulk, hazardous or regulated environments ideal) Strong knowledge of fleet management, compliance and driver legislation Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance and manage cost Commercial, customer‑focused and solutions‑driven 📩 Interested or know someone suitable?
