Overview We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a major, large-scale digital transformation programme within a complex public service environment. This initiative is focused on modernising systems and processes, enabling greater efficiency, and supporting the evolution of a unified digital service capable of delivering multiple products through a single platform. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic outcomes by analysing current operations, defining future-state processes, and supporting the delivery of an ambitious roadmap aligned to long-term organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather, analyse, and validate requirements Translate complex processes and policy needs into clear, actionable documentation Support strategic decision-making by providing detailed insights into systems, processes, and operational landscapes Act as a bridge between delivery teams, stakeholders, and wider programme resources to ensure alignment Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement across the programme Contribute to the design and evolution of a scalable, multi-product digital service Facilitate workshops, playback sessions, and reviews to ensure shared understanding and continuous improvement Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and capability-building within internal teams
Key Skills & Experience ā Proven experience working on complex, large-scale digital transformation programmes ā Strong background operating within Agile delivery environments, often under pressure and tight timelines ā Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels ā Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments ā Ability to quickly understand complex systems, processes, and subject areas ā Proactive approach with confidence navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
Desirable Skills Experience or familiarity with large-scale service delivery or benefits/welfare systems Experience contributing to long-term strategic transformation programmes
