Business and Operations Support Apprentice
Company – Lyan Packaging Location - Wrexham Industrial Estate, Clywedog Road South, Wrexham, LL13 9XS Hours - 39.5 hours Monday to Friday Salary – £20,540.00 per year.
About the role: We’re an independent, family-owned business with a close-knit, collaborative office team based in an open-plan environment.
As an apprentice at Lyan Packaging, you’ll have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable and varied experience as you will be exposed to different departments and functions, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of how our business operates.
Working across both Lyan Packaging and Icertech, this is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the business.
During your work and studies, you will be supported by knowledgeable and friendly colleagues who will ensure you are able to put your academic learning into practical use.

Responsibilities: · Responsible for the organisation of the shared sales inbox · Handling incoming calls · Providing ad hoc support to the Operations Director · General housekeeping · Sales and purchase order processing · Accounts admin support · Support raw material stock coordination and planning. · Support transport arrangements including planning, Goods-In and despatching.

Key Skills: · Friendly and approachable; a good ability to build relationships with all stakeholders · Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Word · A desire to support all areas of the business and learn cross functions · Ability to work well in a team as well as independently · Comfortable telephone communication skills · Flexible in your approach to learning to new skills, processes and job roles · Confident to seek advice from colleagues and an excellent communicator. · GCSE’s in Maths and English, equivalent to a C or above.
