PE Global is recruiting a Business Development Associate on behalf of a leading global online marketplace to support the growth of student-focused accommodation supply across the UK.

The rate for this role is 28.00 GBP/Hour. The role is hybrid and you'd be required to go to the office once/twice a week in central London. The role is an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Acquisition & Execution

Identify and onboard new supply partners, including student housing providers, hostels, and group accommodation operators Build and manage a pipeline from initial outreach through to onboarding and go-live Support delivery of the UK student supply roadmap Develop scalable approaches to acquiring high-volume supply

Supply Optimisation

Support new hosts and partners through onboarding and early ramp-up Optimise listings for student travel through pricing, availability, and positioning Ensure supply meets affordability expectations while maintaining quality standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing teams to align supply with key demand periods (e.g. summer, graduation) Collaborate with product and business teams to improve onboarding and unlock new supply types Support communications and PR initiatives tied to supply growth

Partnerships & Channels

Support relationships with universities, student accommodation providers, and youth-focused housing operators Help develop new acquisition channels to scale supply Identify and act on market trends, including seasonal availability

Insights & Reporting

Track pipeline activity, onboarding performance, and key supply metrics Analyse performance and identify optimisation opportunities Provide insights on pricing, supply gaps, and student demand

About You:

1–3+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, marketplaces, or program management Strong commercial awareness with an interest in travel, marketplaces, or property sectors Hands-on and execution-focused with a proactive mindset Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities Data-driven with an interest in performance and optimisation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience (Nice to Have)

Experience in supply acquisition, partnerships, or marketplace growth Exposure to account management or operational delivery Familiarity with travel, hospitality, or student accommodation sectors
