CAD Technician Apprentice
Pure Group is growing and looking for a motivated CAD Technician Apprentice to join our friendly, experienced team. Gain hands-on experience creating technical drawings for real projects, learn from skilled engineers, and complete a recognised apprenticeship while building a long-term career in design and engineering.
Requirements
- GCSE in Maths (grade 9-5)
- GCSE in English (grade 9-4)
- GCSE in Science (grade 9-4)
- Driving licence preferred
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems and software
- Time management skills
- IT skills

Responsibilities
- Support the business by creating and maintaining accurate technical drawings
- Assist with IT and systems support
- Learn to use AutoCAD to create, update, and maintain drawings
- Assist with installation drawings for live projects
- Produce as-built (record) drawings
- Update drawings for maintenance and servicing
- Manage drawing libraries and specifications
- Follow CAD standards for accuracy and consistency
- Support CAFM and internal systems
- Assist with IT equipment setup and general support
- Work closely with engineers and the Managing Director
- Complete apprenticeship training and apply learning on the job
- Conduct occasional site visits to support drawing updates and information gathering
- Work both independently and closely alongside engineers and the wider team
