Job Title: Chief Business Officer

Position Overview

The Chief Business Officer (CBO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for driving the company’s overall business strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion. This role ensures the successful execution of commercial initiatives and alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1.Business Strategy & Planning Develop and execute the company’s short- and long-term business strategies Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape Identify new business models and monetization opportunities

  1. Business Development & Growth Own revenue, customer acquisition, and market share growth targets Identify and expand into new markets, channels, and customer segments Lead key initiatives to drive scalable business growth

  2. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development Build and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances Lead high-level negotiations and close major deals Develop and strengthen the company’s business ecosystem

  3. Sales & Marketing Alignment Oversee sales strategy, performance, and team leadership Partner with marketing to drive brand awareness and demand generation Optimize sales funnel and customer conversion rates

  4. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams Ensure alignment between business goals and product strategy Drive organizational alignment and execution

  5. Data-Driven Decision Making Leverage data and analytics to guide strategic decisions Define and track key business metrics (KPIs/OKRs) Report performance and insights to the CEO and board Qualifications

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred 20 years of relevant industry experience (e.g., tech, internet, consumer goods) 10 years of leadership or management experience
