Location: London (Hybrid) Renumeration: £300k base + bonus + equity SB1905

Finatal are working on an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, commercially driven CFO to join a high-growth, private equity-backed software business entering a pivotal stage of its journey.

With £100m ARR, international operations, and a clear value creation strategy underway, the business is seeking a strategic finance leader capable of helping drive the company toward a planned exit over the next two years.

Working closely with the CEO and highly regarded leadership team, the successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the next phase of growth, both organically and through M&A. The CFO will sit on the Board as a true strategic partner, helping steer the business through scale, transformation, acquisition activity, and ultimately a successful transaction process within two years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and investors to execute the growth and exit strategy
  • Lead all financial operations across an international software business
  • Drive strategic planning, forecasting, and commercial decision-making
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities
  • Support integration activity and value creation initiatives post-acquisition
  • Build and enhance reporting, operational finance, and investor communication
  • Prepare and execute exit within two years
  • Act as a key voice within the executive leadership team and Board

The Ideal Profile

  • Proven CFO experience within a software / SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue business models
  • Track record of delivering growth within PE-backed or investor-led environments
  • Experience leading M&A activity and managing complex strategic projects
  • Commercially astute, strategic, and highly credible at Board level
  • International business exposure preferred
  • A driven, ambitious individual excited by high-impact value creation
