The Staff Nurse in Chronic Pain Management is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals experiencing chronic pain. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the nurse delivers high standards of clinical care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves supervising junior staff, participating in teaching and mentoring, and supporting the development and implementation of pain management policies. The nurse is expected to maintain accurate documentation, ensure patient safety, and contribute to continuous service improvement, all while upholding the Trust’s EXCEL values and commitment to equality, safety, and patient-centered care.
