With multiple locations now established across the UK and Europe, we have built a strong presence in the North East, working closely with several well-established local manufacturers. As a result of this success, we are now opening a dedicated North East office - designed to support our existing clients while driving further expansion across the region.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and commercially focused hunter to join our team as a Client Relationship Manager. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing new manufacturing clients, enabling continued growth and strengthening our footprint across the North East.

The main purpose of this position is to drive business growth across the UK, with a particular focus on the Manufacturing sector.

You will be working on high-value bids and tenders, proactively identifying, assessing, pursuing, and winning new sales opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to quickly develop a deep understanding of the Manufacturing market, allowing you to build strong, lasting relationships with prospective clients. Given the complexity of the projects, attention to detail and a consultative approach are essential to guide customers through the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and leverage strong relationships within target accounts to access key decision-makers Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector Conduct in-depth research meetings to understand customer structures, requirements, and objectives Present tailored logistics solutions and lead negotiations through to successful close Maintain proactive daily telesales activity to generate and develop new leads Plan and execute regular client visits across the UK Achieve personal KPIs and sales targets Represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions Maintain high standards across all business activities Accurately update and manage the company CRM system Strengthen and expand existing customer relationships

Requirements: Proven experience in a customer-facing B2B role Strong background in logistics and understanding of the manufacturing sector Existing industry contacts and customer base would be highly advantageous A true “hunter” mentality with a passion for winning new business Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills Strong relationship-building capabilities with a long-term mindset Proficiency in CRM systems (essential) Strong MS Excel skills (advantageous) Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
