Working Part time: 22.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time 22.5 hour post as clinical skills tutor for medical education. If you are a suitably experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or AHP this may be the opportunity for you. You will be working within a small but dynamic team providing clinical skills and simulation.

The successful candidate will continue to develop skills of advanced clinical reasoning, leadership and supervision in a supportive environment.

They will be required to support the clinical skills lead for medical education ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and assessment, as well as acting as an effective role model for the team with whom they work, ensuring the excellent ethos of Multidisciplinary working with clinical fellows.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake day shifts only.

To work within the Resuscitation, Clinical Skills and Simulation team to enhance and improve the clinical competency of multidisciplinary staff, with the focus on development and support for undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff. To provide clinical education and training to all grades of trust staff, supporting the achievement of departmental targets, KPIs and service improvement projects. To lead on specific service improvement projects as delegated by the departmental team leader.

The Trust’s services are provided from three locations:

The Countess of Chester Hospital: providing 473 general and acute beds. Ellesmere Port Hospital: providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility. Tarporley War Memorial Hospital: a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
