As Commercial Excellence Manager – Prestige, you own that space end‑to‑end: the commercial strategy, the execution, the financials — and the results.
THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Commercial Excellence Manager within Coty Prestige UK&I, you are the day‑to‑day commercial owner for key prestige brands — with a core focus on Marc Jacobs Beauty (fragrance + make‑up) and future portfolio expansion including Swarovski.
You sit at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Demand and Global, turning brand intent into executable, data‑led Go‑To‑Market plans. This is a high‑autonomy role where pace, judgement, and influence matter.
You will manage:
Own the commercial & GTM strategy
Define and land a clear commercial and brand strategy aligned to UK&I priorities and global direction Build and execute robust Go‑To‑Market plans across fragrance and make‑up Translate business objectives into precise 4P decisions that drive growth while protecting brand equity Act as the single commercial owner for your brand remit within the Prestige organisation
Lead the 4Ps with financial ownership

Own Product, Place, Pricing and Promotion strategy across channels, both in‑store and online Drive fact‑based decisions using sell‑in, sell‑out, EPOS and promotional analysis Own P&Ls, including promo mechanics, distribution changes and NPD scenarios Manage gross‑to‑net with strong fiscal‑year planning and forecasting discipline
Land brand strategy with retailers
Partner closely with Sales teams to ensure plans land externally and deliver vs expectations Build strong influence with key retailers including Amazon, Superdrug and The Perfume Shop Balance short‑term performance delivery with long‑term brand equity Monitor competitor and trade activity to identify opportunities to win in market
Turn data into decisions
Deliver clear, regular performance read‑outs with actions and recommendations Use data to influence Marketing, Sales and Global teams for corrective action Track performance vs targets across market share, sell‑out and financials Share best practice and ensure compliance with global placement guidelines
Lead with ownership
Coach and manage 1 direct report supporting analysis and execution Operate with confidence, autonomy and accountability in a fast‑paced environment Act as a credible, influential voice in cross‑functional and senior forums

You are a commercial expert, not a coordinator. You’re comfortable owning a brand remit end‑to‑end, influencing without authority, and making decisions with imperfect information. You thrive in high‑stakes, high‑pace environments and know how to bring others on the journey.

Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability Proven P&L ownership and financial modelling experience Background in Commercial Excellence, Trade Marketing, Category‑Commercial or Sales‑linked roles Confident stakeholder manager across Sales, Marketing, Demand and Global teams Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence and align Calm, resilient and decisive under pressure Comfortable leading with high autonomy and minimal day‑to‑day coaching
