Location: Hybrid - within one of our offices (Nottingham, Alfreton, Daresbury, London, Sheffield or Wakefield)

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £28,489 with potential to rise to £31,655 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first. The Communications Coordinator supports the delivery of clear, accurate and timely communications that enable successful contract launches across NHS Supply Chain. Reporting to the Communications Manager, the role focuses on coordinating, formatting and maintaining communications materials in line with brand standards and delivery timelines.

Working within the Customer, Communications and Brand Directorate, you’ll collaborate closely with Communications and Brand colleagues, the Voice of the Customer (Contract Launch) team, and internal stakeholders across the organisation to ensure NHS Trusts receive the information they need to prepare effectively for new contracts.

We are seeking a Communications Coordinator who will be responsible for:

Coordinating and supporting the preparation of contract launch communications and supporting documentation, ensuring content is accurate, clear and fit for purpose. Formatting, proofing and maintaining communications materials so they are consistent, professional and fully aligned to brand guidelines. Organising, managing and updating communication assets, including version control and document tracking, to support efficient delivery. Providing administrative and coordination support to the team, including organising meetings, maintaining trackers and supporting governance processes. Working collaboratively with Communications, Voice of the Customer and wider internal teams to meet delivery timelines and support smooth contract launches

Strong organisation and attention to detail, enabling you to coordinate multiple communications, manage version control and ensure all materials are accurate, consistent and ready to publish Excellent document formatting and editing skills, supporting the production of clear, professional communications that meet brand standards and are easy for NHS Trusts to use Reliable delivery within defined processes and deadlines, helping contract launch communications land on time and supporting smooth, well‑coordinated launches Collaborative and team‑focused approach, allowing you to work effectively with Communications, Voice of the Customer and internal stakeholders to support shared delivery goals Clear written and verbal communication skills, ensuring information is well‑structured, easy to understand and accessible for a wide range of stakeholders
