Company Accountant
📍 Banbridge | 🕒 Full-Time | 🏠Hybrid Working Available
The Company Accountant will manage the day-to-day financial operations of Izzat Electrical Engineering and support management with accurate, timely financial reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Banbridge with flexibility for home working.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in shaping financial processes and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities • Managing the full accounts function • Preparation of monthly management accounts • Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger processes • Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring • Preparation and submission of VAT, CIS, and RCT returns • Managing payroll processes across UK and Ireland • Assisting with shadow payroll administration and reporting requirements • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis • Liaising with external accountants and auditors • Assisting with year-end accounts preparation • Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations • Providing financial support and reporting to senior management

Qualifications Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) Previous experience within a similar accounting role Strong knowledge of: Management accounts VAT, CIS, RCT Reconciliations and payroll processes Experience managing payroll and shadow payroll processes is desirable Strong IT and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
