Construction Underwriter – Contractors Liability Salary - £40,000 - £60,000 London/ hybrid

We are partnering with an ambitious and growing MGA that is looking to expand its UK Liability team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist underwriting environment with a strong focus on Construction Liability across a broad range of trades and industry sectors.

The Role Underwriting new and renewal business within agreed authority levels Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and trading partners Actively promoting the MGA’s Liability proposition within the market Assessing risk, setting policy terms, and calculating premiums in line with internal guidelines and insurer binding authority agreements

Experience Required Cert CII qualified (minimum requirement) At least 3 years’ experience underwriting Contractors Liability insurance Proven experience handling high-risk and/or hard-to-place Liability risks (advantageous) Strong communication and organisational skills Confident relationship builder with the ability to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
