Job Summary As a Consultant at Airline Strategy Group, you will bring 3-6 years of valuable experience to our consulting team. You will be instrumental in taking ownership and leadership responsibilities over delivering key workstreams, contributing to high-performing teams and driving insights that shape client strategies. As a Team member you will:
Dive deep into the most complex airline strategy challenges: collaborate closely with industry-leading experts and specialists to tackle intricate problems facing airlines. You'll be instrumental in delivering these projects to our clients and gaining invaluable experience from day one.
Be a focal point for clients: engaging in the day-to-day interactions ensuring the success of the project and managing relationships with the client project team. Leverage our proprietary industry leading tools: get immersed in Seabury Airline Strategy Group’s proprietary toolkit for network and fleet planning as well as deep analytics capabilities to process airline data.
Travel to all corners of the world: with clients ranging from the world’s largest airlines to small island nation carriers, you will have the opportunity to travel across the globe. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Lead project workstreams, structuring the analytical approach, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Review and synthesize team outputs into cohesive, client-ready recommendations aligned with overall project strategy.
Analytical Expertise: Design, execute, and validate complex analytical models using advanced quantitative methods and tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python. Analyse complex airline strategy topics and translate data into clear, insight-driven strategic recommendations.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as day-to-day point of contact for client counterparts during project delivery. Present workstream updates, analytical findings, and industry insights in a clear, business-relevant manner.
Business Development & Firm Building: Support proposal development and contribute to business development initiatives. Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring high professional standards. Contribute to internal initiatives including tool development, knowledge sharing, and firm-building activities.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills 3-6 years of proven experience in a relevant analytical role. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verba manage complex project dynamics. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead in a team environment. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Keen interest in the aviation industry.
Requirements Advanced degree preferred. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%). Have the right to permanently live and work in the United Kingdom (sponsorship not available).
