Are you passionate about Torbay's culture and heritage?
Do you wish to be part of an initiative aimed at celebrating, engaging and investing in Torbay's cultural and heritage to make the bay a better place to live, work and visit?
If so - we'd love you to join our team.
The Torbay area, also known as the English Riviera, is a truly remarkable place. Those who live here know how naturally inspiring it is; those who visit get just a glimpse of why this UNESCO Global Geopark is one of Earth’s extraordinary destinations. Torbay is one of the National Lottery Heritage Fund's Heritage Places, a programme of sustained investment into the bay to assist in the promotion and protection of our local heritage and culture and its connection with residents and visitors to Torbay.
As our new Culture & Heritage Grant Writer, you'll be central to the preparation and submission of complex funding applications in support of Torbay’s natural and cultural heritage.
What you'll be doing: You’ll lead on the preparation and submission of complex funding applications in support of Torbay’s natural and cultural heritage, specifically applying to: Heritage Places (via the National Lottery Heritage Fund), Historic England, Arts Council England, and other public and private funding bodies. You’ll identify local, national and international opportunities for place-based regeneration funding and to prepare and submit high quality bid applications and to provide advice and support to community based organisations wishing to prepare grant applications to the Torbay Heritage Place programme and Arts Council England. You’ll develop a strategic funding pipeline which is aligned with priorities as set out in Torbay Council’s Community & Corporate Plan and the Torbay Heritage Strategy (2020 – 2026).
If this sounds like you and you’re excited to play a key role in bringing funding to support Torbay’s natural and cultural heritage, we’d love to hear from you.
Get in touch and help us shape something extraordinary.
