What you’ll be responsible for Designing and building the end‑to‑end data platform using the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Fabric, Databricks, Power BI) Creating scalable data pipelines, models and reporting layers Integrating data from core business systems across finance, CRM and operations Delivering high‑quality board, executive and operational reporting Defining and standardising KPIs to establish a single source of truth Partnering with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions Setting pragmatic data governance, security and quality standards Laying the foundations for a future data function, including standards and ways of working
What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer / Data Lead A track record of building a data platform from scratch in a low‑maturity or greenfield environment Strong hands‑on capability with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines and data modelling Solid experience across Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and shaping direction, not just delivering tickets
Experience in professional services or multi‑entity environments is advantageous, as is exposure to data governance tooling or AI‑enablement use cases.
