Debt Recovery Paralegal
Debt Recovery Paralegal | Top 150 Law Firm | Hybrid Flexible Working | Birmingham
Salary: up to £35,000
An exciting Debt Recovery Paralegal has become available with an established Top 150 national law firm based in Birmingham offering hybrid working.
You'll be joining a supportive an established Litigation (Debt Recovery) Team with an excellent benefits package. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, award winning firm with a strong reputation in the legal market.
The Role: Manage defended debt and insolvency matters from instruction through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Draft and prepare legal documentation, including court applications, witness statements, defences, statutory demands, and enforcement proceedings Advise clients on dispute resolution, insolvency processes, enforcement strategies, settlement options, and recovery prospects Liaise with clients, courts, insolvency practitioners, enforcement agents, and other stakeholders to progress cases effectively Monitor case progress, statutory deadlines, and enforcement activity, providing clear updates and pragmatic recommendations Support business development initiatives through client engagement, networking events, and collaboration with the wider team

About you: 1 year's experience in debt recovery Strong team player with excellent relationship-building skills Adaptable, flexible, and calm under pressure Eager to learn and develop professional knowledge Able to work independently and collaboratively Effective communicator with strong client-facing skills Organised, discreet, and committed to high standards
