About The Role
Ecclesiastical Insurance who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Development Account Manager to cover the London & South East Region.
As a Development Account Manager, you will pro-actively manage and develop broker relationships within a panel to generate sustainable and profitable growth, through new business and retention. Ensuring a high-quality sales process and long-term outlook, develop mutually beneficial business relationships between partners and Ecclesiastical.

What you'll be doing
Build and maintain a successful contact strategy for each broker. Work closely with internal and external stakeholder to support the delivery of great customer outcomes. Provide support to the Strategic Account Managers by creating a continuous feedback loop that feeds the delivery of regional account plans. Engage with colleagues across Ecclesiastical UK to leverage business relationships and ensure agreed strategies are implemented effectively. Acting within Ecclesiastical’ s risk appetite, target, win and retain business in our core market sectors, delivering profitable growth in line with plan through: Prospecting, including using and growing CRM pipeline. Planning and delivering agreed activity levels. Delivering a high-quality sales process. Driving profitable new business growth. Supporting renewal process. Represent all areas of Ecclesiastical UK’s Intermediated business, including Specialist Niches, Art and Private Client, Real Estate and Schemes. Work pro-actively with colleagues in the technical support functions (Claims, Risk and Underwriting) to deliver exceptional service and propositions to our brokers and their customers. Strong track record in a commercial insurance sales role within the UK market. Proven ability to build productive relationships internally and externally. Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills. Knowledge of tactical marketing campaigns and ability to identify such opportunities. Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives and meet targets. Proactive with desire to continuously improve. Appropriate IT and data skills (including Microsoft suite)
