DevOps Manager - Paddington - New Role
A leading organisation requires a DevOps Manager to manage its growing DevOps function. The successful candidate will lead a (growing) team to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions.
Duties are as follows:
Developing the DevOps strategy and roadmap to enable efficient, secure, and automated delivery of applications and infrastructure. Managing a team of DevOps Engineers - providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure high-quality delivery of cloud solutions. Overseeing the implementation and integration of DevOps tools and automation frameworks to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Implementing comprehensive observability practices—including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting—to maintain visibility, performance, and reliability across all environments. Leading and developing a high-performing DevOps team, fostering collaboration between development, operations, and security teams. Championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and automation to enhance delivery speed and operational efficiency.
Suitable candidates will have the following:
Experienc in leaidng teams and fostering collaboration across development, operations, and security functions. Extensive experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. Strong technical proficiency in cloud platforms and containerization technologies. Proficiency in monitoring and observability platforms and best practices for system health and performance. Strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize delivery processes. Understanding of DevSecOps principles and ability to integrate security into CI/CD workflows. Commitment to staying current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and best practices.
