Learning Content Developer (E-Learning & LMS)

Location: Remote Industry: Luxury Yachting Department: Learning & Product Development Reports To: Head of Learning / Learning Development Team

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Content Developer to join our growing Learning & Product Development team within the yachting industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for learning design, digital content creation, and the yachting industry. The ideal candidate will help develop engaging online training programmes for yacht crew using modern e-learning tools and AI-assisted workflows.

While previous experience in e-learning or instructional design is beneficial, it is not essential. Full training can be provided for the right person. What matters most is enthusiasm for creating high-quality learning content, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small, close-knit remote team.

Candidates with previous yacht crew experience or exposure to the yachting industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

E-Learning Content Development

• Build engaging online learning content using Articulate Rise 360
• Create visually appealing and interactive training modules using multimedia, scenarios, quizzes, and embedded resources
• Follow detailed content briefs and production plans to deliver training to a high standard
• Collaborate with the Product Development and LMS teams to develop and improve training programmes
• Support the creation of blended learning experiences for both online and in-person delivery

AI-Assisted Content Production

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Rise AI, and other emerging technologies to support content creation workflows
• Assist with drafting scripts, learning activities, assessments, and course structures using AI responsibly and effectively
• Continuously explore new ways AI can improve learning production efficiency and learner engagement

Multimedia & Video Content

• Support the creation of video-based learning using tools such as Synthesia and other digital media platforms
• Assist with editing and preparing multimedia assets for use in e-learning modules
• Help ensure all content aligns with brand and learning standards

LMS Administration Support

• Assist with basic LMS administration tasks
• Upload and manage SCORM packages within the LMS platform
• Replace and update course content when required
• Support course setup, testing, and learner experience checks

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Learning, Product Development, and LMS teams
• Participate in content reviews and quality assurance processes
• Contribute creative ideas and improvements to learning experiences
• Maintain consistency, organisation, and attention to detail across all projects

Desirable Experience

• Previous yacht crew or yachting industry experience
• Exposure to e-learning platforms or instructional design
• Experience using Articulate Rise 360 or other e-learning authoring tools
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM content
• Experience with Synthesia or video content creation tools
• Understanding of adult learning principles
