About You
The ability to use information technology with precision and speed in relation to all areas of work (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.) Knowledge regarding developing, maintaining and using a database Knowledge of data protection procedures and guidelines An ability to communicate orally and in writing with parents, professionals, members of the public and colleagues The ability to manage time and prioritise work effectively and adhere to tight deadlines]
Key Responsibilities
To use electronic methods of communication including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook electronic diaries and maintain and use an accurate and confidential database (currentlyCAPITA 1). To undertake the caseworker role for children known to the service by collating all information and reports and by liaising with professionals linked to a child’s assessment. To prepare all meeting paperwork, agendas and take minutes for the New Referrals Meetings, the Early Years Forum meeting and other relevant meetings. Provide office support to the Early Years SEND Service regarding the assessment of and transition planning for children with SEND. To offer generic advice and guidance
