Join Telford & Wrekin Council’s Virtual School to improve attendance, engagement and attainment for children in care, children with a social worker, previously looked after children and children in kinship care – working with schools and partners through multi-agency working and the Family First Partnership.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Teacher Education Adviser. You will need to have proven experience of raising attainment for vulnerable pupils, including those with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will be able to navigate the multi-professional network to ensure barriers to learning and progress are overcome. As an education adviser, it will be your responsibility to monitor and track pupil progress and to recommend interventions to enable pupils and students to achieve and succeed. Part of the role is to be able to support and equip the network with skills and experience they need to support our learners.
The role will also include leading and co-facilitating training for a variety of stakeholders and a variety of young person enrichment opportunities that take place after school and occasionally during school holidays and weekends.
