EL / PL Solicitor

Casualty Solicitor - Liverpool - Up to £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Casualty team, known for delivering specialist defendant litigation services across employers’ liability, public liability and product liability claims. The team acts for a diverse client base including insurers, insured corporate entities and public sector organisations, providing exposure to high-quality, technically challenging work.

With a strong national profile and established expertise in fraud-related matters, this is an excellent environment for junior solicitors seeking strong development and long-term progression. In this role, you will manage your own caseload of fast track and multi-track litigated claims while also supporting senior fee earners on more complex files. The position offers broad exposure to EL/PL work, with the added opportunity to develop a growing specialism in occupational stress claims.

Your responsibilities will include handling liability and quantum assessments, managing large disclosure exercises, drafting pleadings and other key legal documents, attending client meetings and court hearings and liaising with Counsel and expert witnesses. This is a strong opportunity to develop both technical expertise and client-facing skills within a supportive and ambitious team environment.
