Electrical Estimator Location: Plymouth (Office-based with 1 day remote working) Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Electric Company Car + Bonus Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Company: We are working with a growing and forward-thinking renewable energy contractor specialising in commercial electrical installations, solar PV (SV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), and EV infrastructure.

With a strong pipeline of projects across the commercial and industrial sectors, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for renewable energy projects Price commercial solar PV, BESS, and EV infrastructure projects Assess both electrical and civil scopes of work Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Work closely with project and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutions Support tender submissions and bid proposals

Requirements & Experience Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within renewables or commercial electrical projects Strong experience pricing solar PV, BESS, and EV infrastructure projects Understanding of both electrical and civils packages Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points) Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
