What You’ll Be Doing

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager looking for a unique opportunity to apply your expertise at the heart of the UK’s democratic system? Working at the UK Parliament, you will play a critical role within the Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team (PMST), ensuring the safety, compliance and continuous operation of electrical services across one of the most prestigious and complex estates in the world. From the historic Palace of Westminster to modern buildings such as Portcullis House, you will lead essential maintenance programmes, provide expert technical assurance, and help keep the Parliamentary Estate safe, resilient and fully operational for Members, staff and visitors.

What We’re Looking For.

You hold a Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and are confident applying current regulations in practice. You bring experience managing electrical maintenance and testing within complex environments, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption. You are building your leadership skills, effectively supporting teams and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
