Engineering Manufacturing Apprentice
Join Howco Group as an Engineering Manufacturing Apprentice and start your career with a global engineering business. Gain hands-on experience in precision manufacturing, materials and quality, working alongside experienced engineers while completing a Level 3 engineering qualification.
As an Engineering Manufacturing Apprentice, your role will focus on supporting engineering and production activities across Howco’s manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
- Supporting day‑to‑day engineering and production requirements within a precision manufacturing environment
- Carrying out mechanical and metallurgical activities in line with engineering drawings, standards, and customer specifications
- Preparing, processing, and assessing materials to ensure compliance with required tolerances and quality standards
- Accurately recording technical data and results, ensuring clear traceability and documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of engineering documentation, material certification, and technical reports
- Supporting internal quality and inspection procedures
- Working in accordance with company procedures, engineering standards, and health & safety requirements
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities, including efficiency, quality, and process optimisation projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
- Developing strong “right first time” engineering discipline and attention to detail
- Working flexibly to meet customer and operational requirements
