Your Purpose
As Entertainment Operations Director you will lead the day-to-day management of MSC Creative Studios in Edinburgh, overseeing facility operations, team leadership, and alignment with wider UK Entertainment activities. You will drive high standards of delivery while fostering a safe, inclusive, and collaborative creative environment, ensuring full alignment with MSC’s operational and cultural standards.
Your Impact
Lead, develop and manage a growing multidisciplinary team within a creative studio environment Act as a key point of contact with MSC’s global structure, ensuring strong communication and alignment Oversee daily planning, scheduling and venue management across a multi studio rehearsal facility Manage and control operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and value delivery Oversee supplier relationships, contracts and service standards Ensure all operations meet health, safety and compliance standards Support the delivery of high quality rehearsal, training and production activity
Your Journey so far
Experience at Director/Senior Manager level within a creative, performance, or educational facility Demonstrated experience managing complex operations and large teams Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
Your Essentials
Experience within entertainment, cruise, maritime, hospitality or large scale venue operations Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international teams Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Fluent English required, additional languages are an advantage Willingness and ability to travel internationally on occasion Existing right to live and work in the UK
