At Sage, we believe summer can be more than just filling time. It can be the moment you build experience, develop confidence, earn well, and discover skills that stay with you long after university, hospitality, retail, or your current role. We’re growing across Birmingham and looking for people who want more than a standard entry level position. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want practical experience, a fast paced environment, supportive people around them, and a genuine route into leadership. You do not need years of experience. You need energy, reliability, and the mindset to learn.
About Sage Sage operates within marketing and business consultancy, partnering with brands to help them grow through customer acquisition, client engagement, and market expansion. Our approach is simple. Learn by doing. From day one, you'll work alongside experienced leaders, gain exposure to live campaigns, and receive structured coaching designed to help you build commercial skills and confidence in a supportive environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
