Environmental Advisor – Rail Infrastructure

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Assessor to join this leading civil engineering and construction firm within the rail sector.

I’m currently supporting a growing rail infrastructure business in the search for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join their HSQE team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in driving environmental compliance, sustainability, and Net Zero initiatives across major UK rail projects.

The role will involve: Environmental compliance & risk management ISO 14001 audits & inspections Supporting sustainability & carbon reduction initiatives Developing and reviewing EMPs/ESMPs Working closely with project teams, clients & regulators Driving continuous improvement across multiple projects

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

Experience within rail, infrastructure, or construction Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation ISO 14001 experience Environmental auditing experience Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable: Network Rail / Tier 1 contractor experience RISQS knowledge PTS certification Sustainability / Net Zero reporting experience
