Main duties of the job
We are pleased to offer an engaging and important role within the maintenance team at UHS. As a member of the department's front line, you will answer helpdesk calls to support the logging of maintenance across the site. Working closely with both clinical and maintenance teams, you will be expected to take down vital information to ensure our team can respond to site issues promptly. When receiving urgent calls, you will be expected to liaise with the teams to issue these jobs out for immediate response, whilst also taking calls for routine works, logging details and working with the scheduling team to ensure these are issued as required.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
This role is solely based on site, Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 15:30. You must be organised and familiar with computer systems, have a confident phone manner and work well under pressure.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
Essential criteria
Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE pass level 4-9 or equivalent standard NVQ 2 diploma or equivalent experience Experience of working in a customer led environment Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages Evidence of computer literacy
Desirable criteria
Courses/further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development Proficient in the use of hospital computerised patient systems Call handling experience Experience of working shifts.
