An opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced Facilities Manager to join the team.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring compliance of a wide range of hard and soft contracted facilities management services ensuring practices are in-line with Trust specification and current legislation. You will have extensive experience across the whole range of estates and facilities duties including minor capital projects.

Be the main point of contact for all queries relating to operational Estates and Facilities issues relating to your sites. To effectively manage the day-to-day performance of the contractors providing Estates and Facilities management services. This will involve the co-ordination of services as well as expertise in maintaining uniform and safe standards across all locations, while at the same time allowing scope for local needs and conditions. Ensure that rigorous scheduled service monitoring, management and review arrangements are in place, and that remedial actions are identified and undertaken where necessary. Inspect all properties as required to ensure that soft and hard facilities services are carried out in line with contract specifications. This will involve liaising with ward staff and clients to ensure access to patient bedrooms and clinical areas. Actively manage asset registers, ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the post holders' sites.
