Financial Controller Wolverhampton | Hybrid | 35-hour week

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected organisation in Wolverhampton seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team.

This is a high-visibility role working closely with the Chief Executive and Board, offering real influence over organisational performance, strategy and long-term sustainability. You’ll lead the finance function, manage a small team and play a key role supporting decision-making across the wider organisation.

Key responsibilities Leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cashflow management Supporting strategic financial planning at leadership and Board level Acting as Company Secretary and overseeing governance compliance Managing monthly management accounts and year-end audit process Maintaining organisational risk controls and compliance frameworks Supporting funded projects, bids and partnership delivery activity Overseeing supplier relationships and ISO 9001 quality systems Supporting wider organisational compliance across HR and H&S systems

We’re looking for someone who Has operated at Financial Controller or Finance Director level Is confident presenting at Board level Has strong governance and statutory compliance experience Enjoys working in an SME or relationship-driven environment Has managed finance staff
